Last Saturday at Hernando’s Hide-A-Way, interpretation Memphis Blues Society recognized niner artists for their regional cope with global impact with its Time Achievement Awards. Among the awardees were Thomas Bingham, Charles Pawn 1, Mike Glenn, Eric Hughes, Rocksolid Kapone, Memphis Gold, Andrew “Shine” Turner, and Jay Sieleman, clever roster marked by its deciding and inclusiveness.

Yet there was one more recipient who was especially notable: Reba Russell.
